We have an LISW in our Rural Health Clinic who providers behavioral health counseling.  We are having issues with CMS rejecting claims with the G2025 and the 900 revenue code, however this is the revenue code that we usually use to bill Medicare/CMS for behavioral health services shes furnishes in our RHC.

Has anyone else experienced this or heard or any issues/fixes for this?

Thanks,

While behavioral health is an allowed cost on your RHC cost report, I don't believe that the services are billable to Medicare. That may be part of your problem???

We are having the same issue with Palmetto. They are rejecting it when we use 900.

Behavioral Health is billable and allowable for LCSW and psychologist. 900 is the appropriate revenue and is billable.
