Has anyone implemented the use of the Zio Patch in their RHC and how do you bill for it? 10/1/2020 @ 6:32:00 PM

We bill the component piece and contract the reading to a local cardiologist. Who bills the reading part of it. We don't get paid much but they do not take long to put on.

Remote patient monitoring is not an RHC service. CMS clarified this last year in the final rule. Any remote patient monitoring is incidental-to care management. The technical component would not be an RHC service. Any interpretation would be incident-to another face to face encounter and not separately billable.
