Are RHC's able to bill for B12 injections if patient is not seen face to face? If the nurse administers shot (provider is located within the office) but provider is not actually seeing the patient. Clarification please. Thank you. 12/21/2020 @ 3:29:00 PM

You cannot bill for any nurse only visits (ie. B12) when there was no a face-to-face visit with a billable RH provider. You can bundle them with a billable visit within 30 days prior or after though if you are able to do this in your system.
