Is anyone performing the rapid covid test in clinic? If so, what CPT code are you using and what is the reimbursement? Trying to determine if we can recoup the cost of the swabs. Thanks 1/14/2021 @ 2:39:00 PM

We are billing 87635 at $77.00. Anthem has paid $51.31 and UH 30.79. Those are the only two companies that paid anything.

Question: If you paid for the rapid test with the CARES ACT funding, how are you able to bill for reimbursement of the test and not just the administration fee? Wouldn't that be double dipping? Thanks in advance for your response, Joan ---------- Original Comments ---------- Last Post By: Suzanne Wright, Lake Village Clinic PA We are billing 87426 for rapid testing and reimbursed 45.23. |
