Dear RHC Community,

I know there is a lot going on right now but I wanted to make sure you all were aware of this opportunity that begins tomorrow.

HRSA will pay $3,000 per RHC clinician if they obtained their DATA 2000 waiver on or after January 1, 2019.

This money comes from a provision within the SUPPORT Act which Congress passed with overwhelming bipartisan majorities in October of 2018 in an effort to combat the Opioid crisis.

RHCs will need to apply through HRSA's Electronic Handbook or EHB. There is $2 million available for this program which breaks out to just over 650 payments to RHC/FQHC clinicians and it is a first come first serve program so if your clinicians are eligible, I would advise that you apply sooner rather than later.

Here are the FAQs: https://help.hrsa.gov/display/public/EHBSKBFG/DATA+2000+Waiver+Training+Payment+Program+FAQs

And a video to help orient you: https://help.hrsa.gov/display/public/EHBSKBFG/Video+-+DATA+2000+Waiver+Training+Payment+Program

HRSA is still accepting applications from RHCs for the opportunity to receive $3,000 per provider under the Data 2000 Waiver Training Payment Program. Eligible providers are those who attained a Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000) waiver on or after January 1, 2019. This is a first-come, first-served opportunity, but HRSA has asked us to share that there is still $1.4 million available for RHCs in the program. We encourage you to apply here if you are eligible!
