Does anyone have information on the Covid shot  if under the RHC will Medicaid  of IL  pay for this code 0002a and 91300. We are only given the shot only .  Would this be a write off ? cost report or can we bill this ?

Hi Joyce,

The 9-1-21 Illinois Medicaid COVID-19 Fee Schedule states, "Please Note: FQHCs, RHCs and ERCs must submit COVID-19 vaccine administration codes fee-for service separately from an encounter claim, even if the vaccine was administered during a face-to face encounter with a practitioner."

Does this help?

So when billing separately do we bill with pos 11 instead of 72?
