NARHC Committee Opportunities
Members of NARHC, are eligible to serve on one of NARHC’s various committees. Serving on a committee is a great way to get more involved with NARHC and help shape the future of the organization. Each committee focuses on a different aspect of NARHC’s mission as you can see by reading the Committee statements of work below. Committee terms are generally aligned with the calendar year. Conference Planning Committee
Statement of work: The NARHC Conference Planning Committee is responsible for supporting the development, structure, and continued success of NARHC’s biannual conferences. The committee’s work ensures that conference programming is relevant, valuable, and engaging for Rural Health Clinic (RHC) professionals across experience levels and operational types—both Independent and Provider-Based.

Education Committee
Statement of Work: The NARHC Education Committee is responsible for supporting the development, structure, and continuous improvement of NARHC’s educational portfolio, including the NARHC Academy, online courses, webinars, and related learning resources. The committee’s work ensures that educational programming is accurate, relevant, and accessible for Rural Health Clinic (RHC) professionals across roles and experience levels, and that it aligns with NARHC’s mission, strategic goals, and evolving needs of the RHC community.

Membership Committee
Statement of work: The Membership Committee is responsible for increasing membership of NARHC and further engaging our present members.

Policy Committee
Statement of work: The NARHC Policy Committee is responsible for establishing NARHC’s policy priorities and positively influencing federal policy outcomes for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), while overseeing key grassroots advocacy programs, including the NARHC fellowship. The committee’s work also ensures that the RHC community remains promptly informed of important legislative, regulatory, grant, and other policy updates.

Finance Committee
Statement of work: The Finance Committee (the “Committee”) of National Association of Rural Health Clinics, Inc. (the “Organization”) is responsible for supporting the Board of Directors (the “Board”) in its efforts to fulfill its fiscal and oversight responsibilities.
