August Recess Opportunity – Host a Congressional Visit at Your RHC!
Mo Sullivan, Government Affairs Associate, NARHC
In just a couple of weeks, Congress will be back in their home districts for August recess. This is a great opportunity to invite them to your RHCs!
Congressional visits are one of the most effective ways to advocate for RHCs, giving Members of Congress a firsthand look at the challenges RHCs face, as well as the critical role they play in rural healthcare delivery. You and your colleagues will have the chance to learn about the legislative health priorities of the Member of Congress, provide information about your clinic operations, and discuss RHC congressional priorities for the 119th Congress.
Prior to any visit, NARHC DC staff is happy to meet with you and your staff to discuss current RHC federal policy priorities and prepare for the best discussion possible!
If you are interested in hosting your Members of Congress, please contact Mo at Mo.Sullivan@NARHC.org for assistance in planning a visit.
Sincerely,
National Association of Rural Health Clinics
