Rural Voices Rising: RHC Advocacy Opportunities in 2026
Mo Sullivan, Deputy Director of Government Affairs
Your voice matters. In 2026, YOU can influence policy decisions that directly affect your clinic, your patients, and your community.
Advocacy doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Whether you have 60 seconds or a full day, the National Association of Rural Health Clinics has a way for you to get involved:
Complete the 2026 NARHC Policy Survey (Only one week left!)
Help NARHC staff gather critical RHC program data and evaluate policy priorities for the year ahead. Your input directly shapes our advocacy strategy. Read more and complete the survey here!
Host a Congressional Visit at Your RHC
Invite your Members of Congress to see firsthand the impact of RHCs in their communities. Your Senators and Representatives will be in their home states and districts from March 30 - April 10, and we are trying to coordinate as many RHC visits as possible. Contact Mo at Mo.Sullivan@narhc.org to help schedule a visit!
Attend the 2026 NARHC Policy Summit
Join 80 of your RHC peers in learning how to be an advocate and taking the power of your collective voice
straight to Capitol Hill. Registration is free for NARHC members. RHCs deserve a seat at the table and the Policy Summit is the perfect opportunity to make RHC policy priorities heard. Learn more and register here!
Participate in VoterVoice Campaigns
Contact your Members of Congress instantly about legislation affecting RHCs. It takes less than 60 seconds to edit and send pre-written messages that NARHC has prepared for you! In 2025, RHCs contacted their Members of Congress almost 5,000 times. Together, we can double that number in 2026. See our numerous active campaigns and message your lawmakers here.
Read Weekly Advocacy Updates
Stay informed through weekly advocacy updates shared in the NARHC Community Forum. Sign up to access the latest developments and policy happenings in DC!
Your voice is more important than ever. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities in 2026.
Thank you for helping us turn momentum into meaningful change!
Sincerely,
Mo Sullivan
NARHC’s Deputy Director of Government Affairs
