Last Thursday I had a phone call with the Director of the Medicare Program and his senior staff about this and other telehealth issues. He assured me that they are aware of the coding/billing issue and they are trying to develop a solution. No timeline for fixing this was given. As soon as we get word on how this will be addressed, we will share it with the RHC community.
