Do you (or can you) have patients fill out the information, or at least some of it, either before their visit or at the start of the visit? I'd like to give patients forms ahead of time and then interview them and enter the data when they visit.

Yes, the forms are mailed out to the patient prior to the visit. The patient is advised with a cover letter, they will be asked to reschedule the visit if the paperwork is not completed prior to the visit. I know some offices has an RN working through the paperwork prior to the provider seeing the patient. However, this will creep into the patient visit time and not productive. |
