We often bill split/shared in the RHC with one of our specialists with PA involvement. Given the 2022 MPFS final rule noting that split/shared will not be billable in an office setting, will we now continue to bill under the specialist, but refer to it as 'incident-to'? The way we conduct, it falls meets split/shared, but can someone clarify if the new split/shared applies to RHC - and if so - can we bill incident to when both PA and specialist are involved, or must we change our practice?
